I'm hoping to gather some information on mentorship.
Specifically, what does a mentorship framework look like? Is it acceptable/expected to pay for mentorship, or to work for the instruction? Should you approach artists you would love to work with or do establish artists find it annoying? Is it safe to assume you would present your portfolio and evidence of creative process?
What other information would be helpful in this process, so you don't shoot yourself in the foot?
Thanks so much for any input!
