A unique opportunity for sculptural artists is coming to the vibrant King and Bathurst Art Area!
There are currently 12 studio spaces available, starting at $350 per month. Each resident artist will
have their own personal studio space, as well as benefiting from a large communal space in which
The communal space allows for the ability for residents to have access to a larger work area then
they would on their own, with the unique feature of retaining their own distinct, personal studio area.
It is also available for resident artists to have classes, with a small portion of the profit going back
into the studio to better this co-operative space.
Larger equipment is available to the resident artists when the studio technician is present.
responsible for their own tools, equipment, materials and supplies.
Resident artists will have 24/7 access to their studio spaces.
The goal is to promote and facilitate sculptural work in Toronto through a co-operative studio
environment. This unique collective studio allows resident artists to share ideas, interact with other
sculptors and build and foster a strong creative community.
We want to provide an unique combination of personal and shared studio facilities for artists
interested in object making and experimentation with 3D materials.
This opportunity is open to all 3D artists: metal smiths, ceramicists, carvers, traditional, new media
and experimental sculptors, etc.
We are interested in sculptural artists with a high standard of critical thinking, motivation and
dedication to their art practice. We are looking to combine a range of styles, practices and materials
to foster and exciting and inspiring 3D community!
