Hi everyone - I work with a costume jewellery maker in Toronto and we are looking for someone to help us make custom metal pieces made of brass. The size is about 10-15 cm and we need it to have a highly polished, glossy finish in gold. Please contact me and I will tell you more about it and send you a sketch of the piece.

Thanks..

Hi Ali, I have done a fair bit of brass work in the last little while. I also have a TIG welder that can weld brass so I am happy to look at your drawings and give you some feedback. please e-mail me @ forgeman@inbox.com or call 613 813 7422, cheers

Hi Ali

terribly sorry but could you send me your e-mail again, I believe I deleted your last message by accident. I had a look at the drawing and I think it is totally do-able. obviously it is for a costume and must be lightweight. can it be fairly thin brass ? also, the lines that run along the center of the form, do they indicate a raised ridge or bevel out to the edges? or is the piece totally 2D ? thanks.
