2001:TWO The 9th Annual College Issue
What do the professors say about their students and their schools?
Since its inception, the Annual College Review has always focused on presenting the work of graduating students, along with their impressions of their schools and programs.
In 2011, in addition to featuring graduate work from the various colleges, we decided to explore the education experience through the eyes of the instructors. Devising a set of seven questions, we asked each college to nominate one instructor to answer them. The responses we got were wide-ranging, varied, humorous and thought-provoking.
The one common thread that stood out for me was the passion and dedication that each of the instructors brings to their work. We selected excerpts from each interview to publish, but felt that the only way to convey the enthusiasm and caring we heard is to make the audio recordings of some of the interviews available online here. We hope you enjoy listening to them!
