Laser Blaster: Mixed metals with plastics and glass, wood and electronic components
Possible Future Scenarios
#4 Regression 2067
We live in the fringes. We are rebels, pirates and outlaws. Life outside the safety of the fortress walls is cut-throat and dangerous. We’re untrustworthy, uneducated, uncivilized lawless and ruthless killers. Well, that’s what the peons believe. Actually we’re all pretty friendly. They fear our supreme technology but are unaware that it’s all a con game. Our guns are harmless; our artillery is artificial and our reputation is Hollywood. They fear us because they are naïve. Most think of us as dirty scavenger peddlers but we prefer the title of Opportunistic Merchants. We salvage old materials and equipment from The Wasteland then trade it with the communes. We barter mainly for food, water and medicine. Peons rarely haggle for a better deal when you’re armed with a “Laser Blaster.” But it’s mostly a struggle of wit instead of war. We are industrious, resourceful and rebellious. We prefer the freedom offered outside the fortresses with all their silly rules. We fight hard to keep our independence and to uphold our terrible reputation. We’re selling them back the waste that got us into this mess.
