Résonance exhibition

Montreal, Wednesday September 16 2015 — The Canadian Guild of Crafts is proud to present RESONANCE, in partnership with the École de Joaillerie de Montréal, which will be held from October 1st to 31st. The exhibition will gather the works of twenty-six jewellers: Pilar Agueci, Gustavo Estrada, Monique Giroux, Camille Grenon, Émilie Guay-Charpentier, Christine Larochelle, Lynn Légaré, Marie-Eve Martin, Julie Mineau, Daniel Moisan, Pierre-Yves Paquette, Francesc Peich, Maxime Proulx, Lidia Raymond, France Roy, Antonio Serafino, Catherine Villeneuve, Denys Michaud, Ron Crawford, Anick Dusseault, Claudia Gravel, Catherine Lachapelle, Sylvie Langlois, Hélène Limoges, Angela Marzinotto and Garrett Johnson. In total, fourty-two pieces of jewellery and sculptures, created by thirteen teachers and thirteen graduates of the École de Joaillerie de Montréal will be presented in exclusivity. Each piece of work is the result of a close collaboration between one teacher and one graduate. This exhibition is part of the celebrations underlining the fortieth anniversary of this school. It provides an overview of forty years, like as many milestones throughout contemporary jewellery-making linked by close or by far to this unparalleled learning ground known as École de Joaillerie de Montréal. The exhibition will transport the visitor throughout classic and modern worlds, by showcasing eclectic and uncommon works!
