Sterling Silver, 22k Gold Leaf
Possible Future Scenarios
#2 Apocalyptic 2067
I know Jacob wants me to make something frivolous, but how can I when life is so hard here? We fight for everything we have and sometimes we lose what is most important. My first real piece of jewellery should have meaning even if it’s unknown to all but me. Sawing metal is what Jacob first taught me and how I cursed him when my practice plates were not good enough! “Again, straighter, you should be able to notice a .01 mm difference in your widths.” So this cuff is pierced to honour Jacob and his dedication to me. The winter branches of the trees above where my little brother is buried silhouetted in silver. Always one branch buds and starts to leaf before the others. Only I ever notice. I think its Adam’s message to me, more precious than gold. He is still here.
