Hello! I'm a beginner jewelry maker currently focused on sterling silver/ copper wire wrapped jewelry. This is mostly just a hobby, but I'd eventually like to make enough pieces to sell in local crafts fairs or potentially online. I'm wondering what kind of safety requirements need to be met to do this? For example, I know there are certain regulations regarding lead content in adult/children's jewelry that need to be met. As a beginning artist, how does one show that I'm using safe materials?…See More
Hello,We are jewelry designers with the desire to re create our existing designs in sterling silver. We have exclusive copyrights of our designs and we need to commission mold, casting, finishing and also developing the new collections. It does not have to be done all in one place and we are open to work with studios outside of Calgary. Please let me know if we could help each other :DThank you so muchLorenaSee More

No problem Bridget. If you get a chance to visit the website you will see that we got lots offeedback. I would just ask that you check out the new "Regional Suppliers" page, and let us know if there is any major supplier in BC that is not there, that would be greatly appreciated. Also any Galleries that specialize in Metal Arts (besides your own - which is already on our list ;-) We haven't updated the Gallery page yet (I am in the US at a show this week-end)
Do keep in touch! Once we go through all the provinces - we will always be looking for new stories.
