Self-Taught for the most part, we had a metal shop garage in east van, out of the house, lathe welder and stuff like that, hands on,, then i had a metal arts teacher that showed me jewelry casting in grade 12,, and from then, anytime I could aford some tools or equipment I would get stuff, I have worked for 14 years with B.C. Hydro, and B.C. gas, and I did my bronze scuplpures and jewellery as a hobby, but it allowed me to "grow" and over the years I have been buying stuff and 12 years ago I opened my own shop, Austin Jewellers, and I havent looked back..... and for the last 6 years or so, I am into CAD CAM,,
