Over 10+ years in the jewellery industry there is a few things I've learned about body piercing and I'm going to share a few tips in hopes that you don't end up like one of the horror stories I've seen throughout my career.

Don't Pierce Infants!

Culturally this was done so that female infants could be identified from male infants. (ears and nose) Socially this saves the parent from correcting people who mistake the gender of the…

What to do if a ring gets stuck on your finger - By Heather L. Morigeau

A ring can get stuck on your finger if you do not take it off nightly or at least every 3-6 months for proper cleaning at a jewellery store.  If you struggle to remove a ring, need soap or spit to get it off your finger it is too tight and needs to be sized up to a proper size.

If your ring gets stuck first and foremost; do not put your fingers in your mouth.  Particles of skin, dirt, food and bacteria are on your hands and most certainly in the crevices of your ring; not…

How to have beautiful custom jewellery created for you

How to have beautiful custom jewellery created for you

By Heather L. Morigeau

Having custom jewellery created for you means that you will own a completely unique design, ensuring that it is well made and practical will mean your design can be passed down through the generations.

What Kind of Jewellery?

The most common type of custom jewellery is, of course, the engagement ring; this ring must be built strong in order to…

Good Day,

How is everything with you, I picked interest on you after going through your short profile and deemed it necessary to write you immediately. I have something very vital to disclose to you, but I found it difficult to express myself here, since it's a public site.Could you please get back to me on:( for the full details.

Have a nice day

Thanks God bless.

Hey Heather!

Sorry it has taken me so incredibly long to respond.  Things have been crazy for me for months, lots of work and lots of family stuff.

My Mom died on January 1st this year.  She went very gracefully and gently, and my sister and niece were with her, but you can imagine that as a result I was a bit preoccupied for a while...

You've got some nice work pictured on your MAG page.  I particularly like "Ties That Bind". Beautiful!

All the best, Julia

I've been working on a strawberry farm, and have the worst farmer tan ever. They taught me how to drive a tractor, heheh. It's fairly relaxing in Kingston though, which will be nice to have before this year.

Heather! I lost that piece of paper with your email on it, and I feel silly. How are you?

Excellent, I am glad you returned home to refuel and relax. My course starts at the end of June, so I have another month to kick back. I was in touch with Alan, who I understand has been working hard. I hope to order some metal wire and try some filigree work I saw in a book. If Sisay can do it, so can I! Ha! Talk with you soon, keep well. Peace

Hi Heather yes I remember you. I had dinner with Paul and Trudey in August on a trip to Edmonton. They were on their way to China and Australia. I see from your profile that you decided to settle in Canada, how's that working out? Are you making some work that we could see? ;-) Ken
