Hey there!I'm a pretty new silver smith! I have just started up a little work bench of my own and I bought the EZ torch. It has been working really well the last few months, but this week the flame has started to surge and sputter. Tonight I was just about to anneal a piece of silver and I went to light the torch, It made a fire ball and the flames fell back running down the handle, I turned off both knobs but the flame didn't go out until I blew it out! so after I was sure the flame was out I…See More

These classes lead the student to working with forged steel to create small and medium sized pieces using traditional and modern forging techniques. Small class sizes of… Continue

looking for a few items.....

Looking for equipment and tools for the studio I am trying to create. I need a used rolling mill and have been searching for months. I am also interested in small tools as well as a foredom with flex shaft.

I have been banished to the garage so any suggestions on heating it would be helpful. It is insulated and has a raised insulated floor and currently has a small oil filled electric radiator but I am worried that the hydro bills will be crazy! I recently took a course on… Continue

Field trip to the show?

Hey everyone,

I haven't had a chance to see the exhibit fully set up and it's closing this week! So i thought i'd organize a last minute field trip, how does this Wednesday the 18th at 2:30pm sound? We meet up at the gallery, stumble around, go for a drink or four, then stumble home for dinner. I have to work at 5:00pm so i'll have to leave by 4:30. Hope to see you there.

-cheers, alastair
