I am an university student, major in ceramics and silversmithing.
I plan to go to vancouver for masters in applied art next year
but the school I am appling for does not have facilities for silversmithing... ( Emily Carr University of Art and Deisgn )
I love both ceramics and silversmithing and hoping to use both materials for my art work in the future!
Does anyone know any metal artist that has workshop or studio in vancouver that can give me some help?

I just discovered your community and im thrilled. Are there any others out there working with silverware? My business is called Tarnished Treasures. I recycle silver spoons and forks without any heat source.I would love to learn how to do more. Apparently, silverware is very frustrating to weld......a local jeweller agrees.Looking forward to learning more and sharing my craft.Check out my website at www.tarnishedtreasures.ca sandi maisano
